The pullback helped shake out short-term speculative excess, leaving a healthier foundation of longer-term holders, while strong and growing industrial demand (from solar, AI, semiconductors, and more) combines with multi-year structural supply deficits and still-moderate futures positioning to set the stage for potentially higher, more sustainable prices ahead if those trends continue.
